What we keep about you

In plain words, because a statement you do not read protects nobody. Last updated: 9 September 2026.

The short answer

Your dreams are yours. We keep them so we can write a reading for them and let them count towards your next dream — that is the whole idea of Dreamverse. We sell them to nobody, we do not use them for advertising, and you can download or delete them at any moment.

What we cannot do: keep your dreams secret from the three companies that make the image, the voice and the text. That is where they go, and below you can read exactly what each of them gets.

Who is responsible

Ruud Peek — ruud.peek@peekbv.nl

Technische Handelsonderneming Peek B.V., De Ring 30, 5261 LM Vught, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce 18030812.

If you have a question about your data, or want something removed that you cannot get out of the app yourself, that is the address. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

What we keep, and why

To let you log in

Your e-mail address and an irreversible imprint of your password. We do not keep the password itself and cannot work it back — not even we can. If you forget it, it can only be replaced.

To write the reading

The dream in the words you tell it, and what comes out of it: the narration, the panels, the moving key moment and the spoken telling. Your answer to the closing question too, if you fill it in.

All your earlier dreams count towards a new reading. Without that memory Dreamverse is a dream dictionary, and that is exactly what it is not.

If you fill it in

Your name, your date of birth and your gender. All three voluntary. We use the date of birth for one thing: for people under eighteen we add that a parent or guardian has to agree to a purchase.

If you write to us about what could be better

After an imagining we ask once what you would want done differently. What you write there we keep with your account, with the date. It is voluntary, and you get the question only once.

It is there to improve the app and for no other reason. It goes into your download and disappears when you delete your account, like the rest.

If you buy something

Your plan, your token balance and a list of your payments. Your card details never reach us: you enter those on Stripe's own page. We only see that a payment happened, and how much.

To know what it costs

For every dream made we record how much was used. That carries a user number, no name and no dream text.

Who we pass it to

Three companies make the reading and the image. They work on our instruction and may not use your data for anything else.

Anthropic — the text

Gets your dream text and the titles and key words of your earlier dreams, to write the reading. Not your name, unless you fill it in; then it is used once or twice in the text. Based in the United States.

Kling — the panels

Gets a short English description per panel of what should be visible. No names, no dream text, no data about you. Based in Singapore.

Runway — the moving image, the voice and Vera

Gets the panel that is to move, and the narration to speak. If you talk to Vera, your voice goes to Runway for the length of that conversation. Your camera is never used: the app only ever asks for a microphone. Based in the United States.

Stripe — the payment

If you buy something: your e-mail address and what you buy. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never pass us. In that sale Stripe is the seller itself and remits the VAT.

Render — where the app runs

The server is at Render, so the database and the files are there too.

Some of these companies sit outside the European Economic Area. That means your data goes there, with the safeguards those companies provide for it.

For how long

As long as your account exists. Delete a dream and it goes at once, with the panels, the video and the spoken text — nothing stays behind in a bin.

Delete your account and everything goes. Only the payment records stay, without your name: an amount, a date and a number from Stripe. That is an accounting obligation, and there is nothing personal in it.

What you can do

See everything and take it with you. In the app, under Your data, there is a button that downloads the lot: your profile, your dreams, the readings and all the images.

Throw everything away. Below it is the button to delete your account. That removes it from your Dreamverse and from our active systems, and it cannot be undone. Our server keeps an automatic disk snapshot for seven days, so a deleted dream can survive there for up to a week before it ages out. What the companies below keep, and for how long, is governed by their own terms and not by us.

Have something corrected. If something is wrong, or you want to object to how we use something, write to the address above.

Two things that are not privacy, but that you should know

The look ahead is entertainment

What the reading says about the coming weeks is not a prediction and not advice. It never touches health, illness, money, pregnancy or anyone's death — that is a hard rule in the program, not a promise made afterwards. Dreamverse is not a care provider and not a therapist.

The image comes from a model

The panels and the video are generated. They do not resemble real people and are not a depiction of what actually happened.
